Winter Spice Flower Hair Clips

I made these hair flowers for a friend's little girls recently. I added petals in magenta and caramel and chocolate brown to make a vibrant, warm winter mix.

I liked them so much that I made a few for my MagicalFairytale etsy shop.

Aphrodite

The amazingly talented Laura Okita has gone and done it again!
The photoshoot is titled Aphrodite and I'm sure you'll agree that Aphrodite herself would envy Ms Okita's beauty and grace.
Just look at those statuesque limbs and alabaster skin!

I was over the moon to see her wearing my FairytaleFlower Chrysanthemum Flower Headpiece which she also wore here.

Make sure you check out the whole fabulous shoot over at Laura's blog Paper Mothball Vintage.

Golden Wood Nymph Hair Wreath

Lately I've been making hair wreaths.
This is something very new and exciting for me as, even though they've been on my to-make list forever, I'd never attempted them before.

These hair wreaths are an all glitzy-and-glamorous gold admixture of leaves and pine cones which conjures up images of festivities and revels to me.

The pictures are admitedly not the best but I'm hoping that when I shoot them on a model they will reveal all their grecian godess potential.
(Anyone out there who would like to model this for me?)

But for now this is all you get and I'm hoping you can see them through my eyes....

If you look closely at the photos you can see that there's a hint of shabby-chic about the leaves -that I particularly like.

Each wreath is unique and distinct.
No two are identical.

I've posted one in Fairytale Flower already.

New Total Black Ruffle Cuff

New ruffle cuff in total black.

Quite dramatic on impact but very easy to wear.

You can just as easily wear it with jeans as you can with an elaborate costume or outfit.

It looks good peeking out of a jacket too.....

Next time I'll add some lace, like this one or this one.
Or another layer.
I love the tiered ones as much as I love the more simple ones.

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for participating -and the Sew Mama Sew blog for organizing Giveaway Week -aka Giveaway Day.

One Perfect Day blog fabric and vintage lace giveaway

Beyond having the opportunity to win any of hundreds of giveaway prizes (there were 515 giveaways this May), Giveaway Day is a wonderful opportunity to interact with those manic -or not- crafters out there and visit lots of wonderful blogs you haven't had the chance to see yet.
