Lavender Lovehearts

Lavender sachets are definately a big thing around here.

Not only do you get that fabulous lavender smell but you also get moth protection and the oportunity to play around with fabric, colours and shapes.....

These were from a big batch I'd started months ago but never got finished.

I love the heart shape

and the material is a very particular fabric of purple with an arabesque gold design going through it.

I fill it up with the freshest lavender I can find and then I add all sorts of other aromatic spices with properties that make you feel good and protect your clothes at the same time.

I promise to make a post with the lavender mix recipe soon.

I usualy tie a stick of cinamon under the bow but I was fresh out....

  1. I was thinking of making a sachet too, great minds think alike, right? I'll use linen and plan on doing a little embroidery on it and then fill it with lavender and rosemary. I'd love to hear what other spices you use :-)
