I've been trying out a new fabric flower.
This is attempt number one, in white:
Simple but oh, so pretty!
I got the instructions from a tutorial in my DIY -Tutorial Board on pinterest which seems bent on escaping me right now. I'll have a better look and find the link for anyone who might be interested or you can visit the board itself for the link to this tutorial as well as many, many, other wonderful things to make and do.
My version definately needs some tweaking, but I love the overall look and I can see it being made in all sorts of colours.

ReplyDeleteI love it, Gia! So simple and lovely. I'd love to have you link it up on my blog hop. Hope to see you there! http://www.hideousdreadfulstinky.com/2012/08/eat-make-grow-thursday-blog-hop-2.html
ReplyDeleteLooks like you got the perfect fabric for this. Looks so delicate and I like the visible structure of it.
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Kind of has a shabby chic vibe to it ;)
ReplyDeleteThe fabric makes the flower look very soft and dainty :)
