Handmade Hostess - Party Ideas for Unforgettable Hosting

I've had all sorts wonderful things coming through the mail lately that I haven't had the chance to share with you yet.

One of my favourite is Handmade Hostess by Kelly Lee-Creel and Rebecca Soder.

I was lucky enough to win this over at Sew, Mama, Sew blog, and I love it!

It's full of all sorts of wonderful projects to sew and make -37 in total - and it's beautifully photographed and presented.

I loved that it was divided into four sections according to the four seasons with projects following the sequence of the seasons as we come across them.

Another pleasant surprise was that this book takes you beyond just imaginative decorations and creative party themes as it focuses on the actual hosting of a successful gathering with tips and checklists that will help you through the -much less fun- aspects of planning organizing and getting it all right as stress free as possible.

An extra bonus was the 12 dessert recipes of mouthwatering cookies and cupcakes and pies that would be the perfect addition to any party or gathering.

Overall, I loved this book and I'd recommend it without question. It's very well put together and it's definately inspirational.

Thank you Kelly for the inscription!
It makes the book extra special.
