Putting A Bow On It

Having an item as sensitive as a flower to ship half way across the world means you have to make sure it gets there in the perfect condition in which it leaves .

So my flowers are shipped off in a box that is sturdy enough to help them keep their shape.

But it has to be pretty too, right?
It's part of what's special about having a parcel delivered to your door...

Here's one of my orders getting packaged and ready to be shipped off to Aoife, a lovely bride in beautiful Ireland.

What do you think, is the 'wrapping' as important as what's inside the package or present?

Big And Red And Bold

These are my newest fabric flowers.
They're big and red and bold and pretty different to my other flowers so far.

They also weigh next to nothing which, in my book, is a huge bonus.
You clip them on and forget they're there....

And, yes, you know it, they're my current favourite.

Watermelon Cucumber Cooler

via Martha Stewart

Made with watermelon, cucumber, honey, and lime, this looks like the perfect summer drink.
You can find the recipe HERE.

I'm looking forward to making it sans alcohol for a refreshing cool summer family drink.

Summer Bridesmaids

This was an order for a lovely bride in the UK.

Three very large coral flower hair clips for her bridesmaids.

Such a happy, summery colour!

Wishing them a fast and safe journey.

More Sea Rocks And Doodles

Sea rocks with holes are my favourite.

I can't resist picking it up when I see one.
(And I can't resist doodling on it.)

This rock was particularly fascinating with a beautiful natural pattern of holes -courtesy of Mother Nature.

You can see the other doodled sea rocks here and here.
