DIY Santa Snow Globe
This DIY Santa snow globe is our very first Christmas craft this year!
We usually make them with water but this year we're trying them without and I have to say that I like how the fake snow sticks to the glass and makes it look like Santa's in a blizzard.....

Making Headbands
I'm still making flower headbands.
Usually, the more I make, the bigger and more complex they seem to get.
I start small and dainty and bit by bit they've been trying to morph into something more like these spectacular D&G flower headbands.
But most are much more minimalist still, with a single delicate bloom on a slim metalic headband.
I've got more to photograph soon and share.

Golden Shimmer Flower Headband
My newest flowers are made with a pretty special fabric that shimmers and shines in a quiet riot of gold, black, bronze and brown.
To offset the glitz, they have a sombre -but lustrous- black bead centre.

And I've been making headbands with them.
I'm attaching them to antique bronze metalic headbands.
Some have one flower on them, some have two.
I've already given a couple away to two of the sweetest little girls!
And I have to say that I love the way they look worn....
