Large Raven Black Flowers

These are large black organza flowers I made for a special project.
There's eight of them - in the two different sizes shown in these pictures.

They're actually darker than the pictures show. They're jet black with no hint of blue at all. Both the organza used for the petals and the tulle are as black as night.
The only relief from the darkness of the flower comes in the form of the gold stamens in the centre and and a hint of dark bronze organza in the mix to highlight the black and give the flower some depth and interest. Can you see it?

Large Burgundy and Black Flower Boutonierre

A large flower boutonniere in a moody mix of burgundy and black.
It measures 2.5 inches or about 6.35 cm across.

It's a custom order, made to tie into a special wedding outfit. So it's one of a kind.

And it's making its way across the ocean as we speak.

Red Poppy Earrings

Another pair of poppy post earrings. This time in red with a discreetly lustrous pewter grey bead centre. (You can see the previous ones here.)

These ones also measure about 1.5 cm across. They are the smallest in size for these flower earrings. There is also a medium and a large size available.

And these are also listed in my Fairytale Flower etsy shop.

Dark Cherry Red Flower Pin and Bobby Pin

I made these dark cerise flowers a couple of days ago. I love this red fabric for its intense vivid colour as well as its discreet subtle sheen.

The beads in the middle are quite interesting, with an exceptional luster with shimmery hues of a variety of colours, including gold and a sort of beetle green. That probably doesn't sound very appealing and it sure isn't captured well in the photos but in reality it's very pretty and rather alluring.

For the flower brooch I attached the simple spoil-proof pin that I favour for brooches (aka pins). The kind that doesn't have the little 'wheel' that sometimes comes off.
