Anyone that has an etsy shop can tell you of the countless hours they spend on Etsy.
They can also testify to the truly incredible shops and artists they come across, that sell their wares on the site. You can find the most beautiful, handcrafted or vintage items in numerous categories and kinds.

I think it was about time I started an Etsy Favourites post.
So every week I'll be picking five favourites from my etsy 'favourites' -older or newer- and sharing them with you.

Hyacinth - Week 3

I promised I'd update my Hyacinth bulb status from the Plant A Flower Day post last week and I'm happy to say they are well and thriving.
Here are some pics from Week 3:

Did you know that Hyacinth bulbs are poisonous?

Plant a Flower Day

March 12 is Plant A Flower Day  in the Us.

Which isn't a bad day to observe, is it?

These pretty bulbs are Hyacinth bulbs and I'll be sure to keep you posted on their progress.

Monday Moodboard - Lilac And Green

An all-time favourite combination in some of my favourite etsy items:

Monday Mooodboard is a game played by the members of the European Etsy Team every Monday.   The moodboard is a selection of items from the team that reflect your mood on that particular day. Anyone in the team can join in. Just link your very own moodboard to the host of the game Star Of The East.

My Creative Space - Golden Flowers

These are my latest organza flowers, and I'm really excited about them....

The deep golden colour of the flower is actualy the result of quite a few layers of different colours -in both organza and tulle.

The pairing of it with the black leaves and purple thread was just a happy accident.

Perhaps I was influenced by the Halloween frenzy going on around me...

In any case, I'll definately be making more of these.
