Fabric Delight
Glorious new fabric from Canton Village Quilt Works! I got this a few days back and have been gazing at it lovingly since.
Just look at it! All green and blue and lovely!
Only a fellow fabric maniac can understand the measure of a fabric affliction -which gives me hope because I know there are so many of you out there....
So, I write this post to you who will understand my happiness at having all this lovely cotton arrive at my doorstep.
I just love these prints and the quality of the fabric is great. It's nice and sturdy quilting cotton and I can imagine how easy it will be to work with.
I will definately be following up with what I do with it.

I haven't yet met a kid who doesn't get really excited with these.

Warm Chocolate
These are my newest organza flowers, in a deep, rich chocolate brown.
I think I'll turn one into a brooch and keep it myself. I find that brown is such an easy-to-wear winter colour.

Monogrammed Sea Rocks
What started out as a quick and simple present idea for a friend has initiated a monogrammed sea rock craze.
These were made with a 1930s art deco vibe in mind so there are the bold lines, sunburst-inspired motifs and a font that's reminiscent of lettering of the era.
I've made more that have already been given away which I didn't have time to photograph.
I'm happy to say they were all well-received.
Now I'm just waiting for a trip down to the beach to get more rocks....
Because I just can't stop.
There are so many designs in my head that I want to experiment with.

Fairytale Flower Review
The lovely Duni of Duni's Studio was kind enough to do a review on a couple of my Fairytale Flower items the other day.
You can read all about what she had to say HERE.
I just love the pictures she took.
She's the pretty face just below, wearing my latest earings.
And here are a couple of pictures I took on my own of said flower earrings.
I love the rich orange of this fabric. It's a colour that I always associate with fall and I love to see it in fall accessories.
These are only just over 2cm or about half an inch (0.5inches) and I think they are very cute indeed but, at the same time, I can't wait to make some much, much bigger ones.
Real statement earrings.

Flower Sea Rocks
More sea rocks with floral motifs.
I love making these.
We have a bowl full of them in the hall and use a couple of large ones as paperweights. They are very handy when sewing actually. I use them to hold down pattern pieces that flutter in the breeze -when there's a breeze.....
