Nautical Beach Bag - Red Stripes

This is the reverse side of my Nautical Beach Bag in a more eye-catching red and white cotton. It's octagonal, it's large and it fits in much more than you'd think!

The wide denim handles have a charming deshabile paint-splattered detail. (No, it's not a result of an accident, that's how the fabric came...)

You can find it listed here.

Bow Hair Clips

This was by far my favourite fabric this season: pretty, red and white striped, soft to the touch, natural cotton.
(I also made my Absolute Beginner Scarf Tutorial with it.)

While it reminds me of Christmas candy cane this close to the holidays, red and white  is one of those classic combinations for throughout the year.

I sure loved making these little bow hair clips with this cotton.
Bows are one of those things that have been on my -very long- to-do list....

I've been dreaming of some in other pretty, girlie fabrics but also in tulle.

Now all I have to do is find the precious time to make some more....

Canvas Leaf Box

These are two little fabric boxes I made for the leaf themed challenge of the European Etsy Team.

You know how I've been obsessed with these leaves lately....

so, as you can imagine, a leaf challenge was pretty welcome!

These fabric boxes are pretty popular around this house.

There's so much we use them for.

And they're listed in the shop.

At The Circus Bag

Yes, I made it!
My entry for the Circus European Street Team challenge is finished!

I called it the 'At The Circus' Tote Bag  and this is it:

It's actualy one bag, but it is fully reversible, with a big bright, frilly brooch that you attach wherever you wish.

One side is  bold red and white stripes with a generous band of vintage white lace on the top.

The other side is one of my all-time favourite fabrics. A very retro looking cotton print with lots of moody black and white and some surprising bursts of purple and red amid the stripes and flowers.

It reminds me of those Victorian tattoed  ladies of the sideshows.

So, according to your mood, you turn the bag inside out and have two very different bags in one.

As for the brooch you choose if you will attach it or not.

You can wear it as a totaly seperate accessory on your clothing or on another bag -or even a hat.

And if anyone was wondering why there are two bags in the pictures....it's not just to show you the fully reversible nature of the bag....

For the first time ever, I made two identical bags.

Because one bag is meant for you!
Yes, it's give-away time!

The give-away should be up by tomorrow morning so please drop in and comment to win.
