Light Ivory Flower Hair Pins

The last flowers I made were these delicate little flower hair pins in a very light ivory - which were great fun to make.
They're actually a bit darker ivory than the pictures show. (I don't know why everything's coming out a couple of tones lighter lately.....)

I doubt you can tell, but there's 12 of them in this little hair pin 'bouquet'.

And this is what they look like on their side, with the hair pins showing.

I've also got them in white in this listing.

Dusky Rose

These dusky rose organza flowers are part of my newest flower craze.
The idea is that there are a number of similar flowers made in varying sizes and the wearer decides how or where they will be worn.

You can turn them into a floral crown; scatter them whimsically in your hair; arrange them artfully; wear them on your bodice or your sash; divide them amongst your wedding party; gift them to your bridesmaids.

I attach them to individual hair clip/ pin brooch findings and leave the rest to the recipient.

Putting A Bow On It

Having an item as sensitive as a flower to ship half way across the world means you have to make sure it gets there in the perfect condition in which it leaves .

So my flowers are shipped off in a box that is sturdy enough to help them keep their shape.

But it has to be pretty too, right?
It's part of what's special about having a parcel delivered to your door...

Here's one of my orders getting packaged and ready to be shipped off to Aoife, a lovely bride in beautiful Ireland.

What do you think, is the 'wrapping' as important as what's inside the package or present?
