Mini Lilac and Ivory Hair Flowers

These mini hair flowers are just under 4 cm (about 1.5 inches) and attached to baby alligator clips.
They're great to clip onto your hair whether it's carefully arranged or not.
They have great grip so you won't have to worry and fuss over them.
I just attach them and forget them.

Delicate Blooms

These champagne and ivory flowers are always such a joy to make.

They're delicate and ethereal and they posses an almost fragile quality that I find absolutely hard to describe.

A picture can only show so much and to me these are so much more than what the pictures can show.

My Creative Space - Ombre Hair Flowers

Extra large ombre bridesmaids flowers in gold-ivory for Elisa.
The largest of these measures about 10cm across and is about that high as well.

This daring young lady plans to wear all three in her hair as a bridesmaid.
I hope she sends pictures, I'd love to see how she wears them.

Dusky Rose

These dusky rose organza flowers are part of my newest flower craze.
The idea is that there are a number of similar flowers made in varying sizes and the wearer decides how or where they will be worn.

You can turn them into a floral crown; scatter them whimsically in your hair; arrange them artfully; wear them on your bodice or your sash; divide them amongst your wedding party; gift them to your bridesmaids.

I attach them to individual hair clip/ pin brooch findings and leave the rest to the recipient.

Putting A Bow On It

Having an item as sensitive as a flower to ship half way across the world means you have to make sure it gets there in the perfect condition in which it leaves .

So my flowers are shipped off in a box that is sturdy enough to help them keep their shape.

But it has to be pretty too, right?
It's part of what's special about having a parcel delivered to your door...

Here's one of my orders getting packaged and ready to be shipped off to Aoife, a lovely bride in beautiful Ireland.

What do you think, is the 'wrapping' as important as what's inside the package or present?

Total Gold Organza Flower Hair Clips

I'm absolutely in love with this gold organza.
I tend to go through colour crushes that last a while and then fade away until the next one.
It probably shows in this blog from time to time too.
It definately shows through my flowers.

Golden Organza Flower - Fairytale Flower

So this golden yellow is my latest colour obsession and I've made an assortment of different flowers with it so far.
But this one is my newest style and one of the very first flowers with stamens that I made -which I have found out that I adore!

Golden Organza Flower  Hair Clip - Set Of 2 - Fairytale Flower

I was thinking of something glamorous for a bride - be it for a fall wedding or not - and I reasoned that you can't get more glamorous then gold.

Golden Flower Hair Clip - Fairytale Flower

So the result was a set of two hair clips in total gold. Lustrous metallic gold stamen paired with golden yellow organza.
Gold excess!

The look adorable clipped together but just one can stand perfectly well on its own.

What do you think?
Would they look good on a bride on her big day?

Anna And Dustin

Anna was sweet enough to share some pictures of her beautiful June 2013 wedding with me.

I just love the soft pink, blue and yellow accents surrounding them.
This wedding must have been a real pleasure to attend.

Everything looks so pretty and well-planned.
I love that bouquet!

And some Fairytale Flowers on the glowing bride's sash.
What an honour!

Aren't they a wonderful couple?

Topping It Off!

Here are some very hasty photos of some much-loved champagne organza flowers.

While I do enjoy making every one of my flowers, bridal flowers have that extra bit of magic to them, don't they?

These are for the lovely Emmeline, who decided to arrange them as her cake topper on her special day.

Wishing you the most fabulous of wedding days, Emmeline!

Next time I'll take better pictures that do them justice.....
