Once again, Giveaway Day is here! Yay!!

This year I've rounded up some fabric and notions in cool blue-beige hues.

The bottom three pieces of fabric are natural wool. As far as I know, they have no man-made fibres.

The top two pieces of fabric are thick and sturdy ypholstery fabric and they are both 37% cotton, 37% acrylic and 36% polyester.

The notions included are:

vintage blue and white trim

new old stock vintage buttons

beige cotton ribbon

baby blue satin ribbon

Giveaway Day Winners!

The winners of my two Sew Mama Sew! Giveaway Day giveaways are as follows:

2. The set of 2 handmade flower boutonnieres winning comment is number 29 which belongs to SisterlyLove.

The fine print concerning One Perfect Day giveaways:

1. I like to draw my giveaway winners randomly. As far as I'm concerned, any and all answers are equal. There is no merit system to determine a winner and there is no answer that will 'win' a giveaway. A simple comment is needed and then luck takes over as I rely on the Random Number Generator to draw the winners of a giveaway in a totally impartial manner.

The only reason for a re-draw is if the first winner does not respond to my email within a couple of weeks.

As I do not pick friends to win any 'prize', I also definately do not exclude them from winning. If a friend is chosen, it's as due to luck as if a total stranger was. I'm happy for them both!

2. After the winners are drawn, I email them with the announcemant and wait for their reply. If there is no reply within a couple of weeks I may re-draw to find a new winner.

Giveaway Day! Pink Floral Fabric

Giveaway Day is here again!

The (almost) week-long biannual giveaway event organised and hosted by Sew Mama Sew is once again upon us.

The truth is I was so caught up in all sorts of projects that it slipped my mind.....
So I quickly rumaged through my fabric stash and picked out these three floral fabrics that are all very different to each other but all feature pink flowers.

If you win this bundle, here is what you get:
1. Hot pink and pale pink flowers with green bold design in natural cotton.
Measures 1.5 metres by 81cm or 59 inches by 31 inches.
2.Chinese-painting-style synthetic mesh fabric in pink, brown and nude with gold highlights. Floral design changes throughout the fabric.
Measures 1 metre by 1.10 metres or 39 inches by 43 inches.
3. Dainty pink rose buds on a yellow pastel background. Slinky crepe-like fabric which may or may not be silk.
Measures 1.40 metres by 82cm or 55 inches by 32 inches.

Givaway Day - Handmade Flower Headband

It's still Giveaway Day over at Sew Mama Sew! and this giveaway is for one of my Fairytale Flower handmade floral accessories. In particular it's a handmade flower headband in delicate yellow with pearl and rhinestone centres. The flowers are attached to a white metalic headband that has proven very comfortable on women as well as girls.

This giveaway is listed in the Handmade Goods Giveaway section while I have another -fabric- one listed in the Sewing and Craft Supplies Giveaway section and you can find it here.

Rules and Regulations:

The giveaway runs from Wednesday May 6 to Sunday May10.

Giveaway Day!

Twice a year Sew Mama Sew organizes a giveaway day -which actually lasts about a week- and is a collection of giveaway links from all over the blogosphere.

Giveaway Day - Sewing and Craft Supplies

It's Giveaway Day at Sew, Mama, Sew!

And I am very happy to be able to take part in it again this year with a little selection from my personal stash of fabric and sewing notions.

So, the winner of this little package will receive:

- a 22.5cm x 1.46m piece of white plush fabric (I don't know what the proper term for it is but it's soft and lovely like synthetic velvet or a plushie with a short pile. Anyone who feels like informing me what it's called can just tell me in the comments.)

- a 80cm x 39cm piece of synthetic sequined gauze type fabric with paisleys and lots of orange

- a 72cm x 13cm piece of extra large lace trim

- a 1.5m long pice of vintage trim (which you can't realy see in the pictures but it's lovely!)

- a vintage satin ribbon that measures approximately 85 cm

- a 1.3m long eggshell white cotton ribbon

- a handmade golden star ornament made out of clay

- the sparkly sequins in festive gold, bronze and black that you see in the pictures.

-95 cm or 1 yard of large white cotton lace trim (by 2.7cm or 1 inch)

-83 cm or 32.5 inches of off white lace trim (by 1.5cm or 0.6 inches)

-two pieces of delicate white cotton lace trim:

one piece measures 1.47metres or 1.60 yards
