I made these big, bold, red poppy brooches last week for a school performance.

They're about 3 inches or 7.5cm across and they were worn on white shirts, so they really stood out, I can tell you!

In my humble opinion, they were wonderful and the girls seemed to love them.

They loved taking them home with them too...

As this is as good an excuse for a giveaway as any, I'll make and send their very own poppy pin to the person who can guess the number of the poppies made in this batch.

I'll keep this giveaway open till Friday 27 May and if more than one people guess the correct number of poppy pins made, I'll make a mini rafflecopter draw.

The fine print concerning One Perfect Day giveaways:

1. I like to draw my giveaway winners randomly. As far as I'm concerned, any and all answers are equal. There is no merit system to determine a winner and there is no answer that will 'win' a giveaway. A simple comment is needed and then luck takes over as I rely on the Random Number Generator to draw the winners of a giveaway in a totally impartial manner.

The only reason for a re-draw is if the first winner does not respond to my email within a couple of weeks. 

As I do not pick friends to win any 'prize', I also definately do not exclude them from winning. If a friend is chosen, it's as due to luck as if a total stranger was. I'm happy for them both!

2. After the winners are drawn, I email them with the announcemant and wait for their reply. If there is no reply within a couple of weeks I may re-draw to find a new winner.

Yes, it's finally Giveaway Day at Sew, Mama,Sew! and it's time for some December giveaways here at OnePerfectDay as well.

So, it's Giveaway Day at Sew, Mama, Sew and this is my second giveaway linked.

(The first one is an assortment of my favourite spring fabrics in cotton and linen plus various vintage lace trims and daisies, which you can find: HERE.)

This giveaway is for a handmade mini clutch, large coin purse or all-purpose pouch in the sweetest spring floral cotton as well as an organza  fabric flower accessory that can be worn as headband, sash or wrist corsage in coral, red and ochre.

The clutch is extra easy to carry around. By adding a ribbon to the ring on the side you can turn it into a wristlet, or add your keys and never lose them again....

The clutch measures almost 15cm or 6inches across and almost 5 inches or about 12.5cm high.

The flower -plus leaves- measures almost 10cm or 4 inches across and its ribbon is about 1.90 cm or 75 inches.
