Giveaway Day - Sewing and Craft Supplies

And I am very happy to be able to take part in it again this year with a little selection from my personal stash of fabric and sewing notions.



So, the winner of this little package will receive:
- a 22.5cm x 1.46m piece of white plush fabric  (I don't know what the proper term for it is but it's soft and lovely like synthetic velvet or a plushie with a short pile. Anyone who feels like informing me what it's called can just tell me in the comments.)
- a 80cm x 39cm piece of synthetic sequined gauze type fabric with paisleys and lots of orange
- a 72cm x 13cm piece of extra large lace trim
- a 1.5m long pice of vintage trim (which you can't realy see in the pictures but it's lovely!)
- a vintage satin ribbon that measures approximately 85 cm
- a 1.3m long eggshell white cotton ribbon
- a handmade golden star ornament made out of clay
- the sparkly sequins in festive gold, bronze and black that you see in the pictures.



Shipping is international.

-2.49 metres or just over 2.70 yards of extra large lace trim on white satin with triangular and floral motif (by 18cm or 7 inches)
-2.49 metres or just over 2.70 yards of extra large lace trim on white satin with leaf motif (by 20cm or 7.8 inches)
-27 cm or 10.5 inch by extra wide white lace (by 13cm or 5.10 inches)
-95 cm or 1 yard of large white cotton lace trim (by 2.7cm or 1 inch)
-83 cm or 32.5 inches of off white lace trim (by 1.5cm or 0.6 inches)
-two pieces of delicate white cotton lace trim:
one piece measures 1.47metres or 1.60 yards 
the other piece measures 1.07 metres or 1.17 yards.

My Creative Space - Old Lace and Happiness


This is part of a newly acquired stash of wonderful vintage lace that I just had to share...



The joy of having this lot drop in my lap unexpectedly can only be appreciated by other manic makers, I'm sure. (Isn't that right girls?)




 Can you see the mustard yellow lace? It's a much deeper, yellower colour than the pictures and absolutely fabulous!




The large pieces of white lace are equally impressive but the sheer novelty of the colour does make it stand out.




There are also all sorts of trims in various sizes and designs....Some hand crocheted.




I can't wait to start on these! 
Ah, the possibilities are endless....
