Carolyn's NYE Flower

Sweet Carolyn from Carolyn's Homework received her very own golden champagne organza flower corsage just before Christmas and was kind enough to write a review on it

I'm thrilled with all the wonderful things she had to say as well as the fact that she's contemplting wearing it on NYE with this lovely metalic silver top.

Here's a snapshot of  the box her flower travelled across the ocean in and below is a compilation Carolyn made of some Fairytale Flower items.

It's all in her post right here.

Thank you, Carolyn!

Upcoming Star DIYS

I have been preparing a tutorial to show you how to make the star wall hanging for your home, as promised, but it got so very long that I decided it would be better to cut it into two smaller ones.

So I will be posting a seperate DIY clay star tutorial and then following that I'll post a DIY Star Mobile tutorial.

They should be up soon.
Hopefully within the next couple of days.

Star Mobile

Gold star mobile.
I hinted at this a while back but haven't been able to post it till now.
It's a wall hanging made out of golden clay stars, driftwood and delicately shimmering white organza ribbon.

I will be posting a tutorial with a step-by-step how-to shortly so you can make it yourselves if you wish to.

Christmas Decor Sea Stones

I've been making more sea rocks - in a decidedly festive tone.

They don't photograph very well because the light bounces off the black ink and the black  gets all shiny and white. But they are a beautiful deep black in real life. Very bold and graphic.
If I can manage to take better photos of the others before I give them out, I will be sharing them with you later.

They make great last-minute gifts. All you need are some stones, a permanent marker and your imagination.

If you want to catch up on more sea rock posts, you can find them here, here, here and here.

Festive Silver Flower Corsage

I love the silver ribbon and silver tulle leaves on this flower wrist corsage.
It gives it a definite festive note.

One of the flowers in these two corsages  is in an off-white organza while the other one is a light, almost transluscent, ivory organza.

This close-up is of the ivory organza.
The centre of both flowers is an exuberant mix of pearls, rhinestones, beads and sequins.

You can find either or both in my Fairytale Flower shop.

Inmyc Cushion Covers

I got these amazing cushion covers in the mail a few days ago and I'm over the moon about them!
They are absolutely wonderful and I can't get enough of them!

They're from a beautiful etsy shop called Inmyc that's full of decorative cushion covers with select photographic images printed onto or woven into the fabric cushion cover.

You can get your own personalized cushion cover by asking for it to be customized according to your specifications.
I am planning to do this in the very near future.
Just thinking of all the possibilities is very exciting!

Everything was carefully wrapped and prettily packaged, which makes receiving the covers feel like receiving a gift.

If you're looking for special home decor -whether it's for the upcoming holidays or not - I would recommend these without any reservations.

Anna is kindly offering a 15% discount on all items in her lovely shop to the One Perfect Day readers who visit her shop and make a purchase.
Just use the coupon code: ONEPERFECTDAY

Golden Woodland Nymph

I just got these amazing pictures from Donna of this gorgeous young lady in my gold leaf crown
Aren't they amazing?

I made a custom armband/cuff to go with this crown and you can see it a bit in this picture on top.

One of the things I love about this crown is that you can pose the leaves any which way you choose to to get the look that you like best.

If you'd like to have a look at other ways this crown has been worn, you can have a look here.
