Reversible Floral Bucket Bag Purse

This fully reversible floral cotton bag is my entry for the 2-in-1 Challenge  organized by the lovely Rikka of Richochet and Away blog.

Either side of the heavy-weight upholstery cotton fabric shows a different part of the pretty floral design.

This is a bag I've been meaning to try out for a long time and it's just perfect for a reversible bag because of its bucket shape and the fact that it's not meant to close.

The other side is plain, natural canvas in the antique white I'm partial to.

Because of its lack of adornment I added four big pockets in the same cotton canvas and used an almost mustard yellow thread for all the seams.

Since I finished it in the last possible minute, I had to take the pictures in the hot midday sun, so the quality of the photos themselves as well as the intensity of the colours of the floral fabric are quite muted compared to the original, but that can't be helped now.....

I'll try and take some better pictures soon.

New Reversible Fabric Box with Heart

I've recently discovered that you can never have too many of these little fabric boxes.

I use them to store make-up, supplies, socks, toys, and just about anything that needs storing really.

This one is reversible -as most of my fabric boxes are.

The heart is one of my lavender lovehearts and it's a detachable brooch that I just couldn't resist attaching to it.

I like hearts regardless of whether it's Valentine's Day or not, so it's going to be sitting on my desk even after the 14th.

Canvas Leaf Brooches/Pins - New Listings!

Yes, I finally listed the leaf brooches in the shop!

In a single leaf listing and in a listing with a set of three.

I still wear mine a lot. Two at a time usually, but sometimes three.

They've  frayed to perfection and I love how they look.
I'll have to remember to take some pictures of them to show.

My Creative Space- More Leaves

I've been working on my leaves for a bit now.

The pop of the bright red thread on the starkness of the cotton canvas is in keep with the red/pink phase that has come over me lately.

Usualy you will find them hidden under one of these.

But I find them way too pretty to always be playing second fiddle.

I actualy wear a pair identical to the one in the photo above, which I love.

I should have some ready to put in the shop soon.
