Olive Green Drawstring Pouch

This is the pouch for my green tie tote, in the same material as the bag, with an added lace accent for a modest romantic touch.

All you have to do is fold the bag and place it in the pouch, cinch the drawstring and tie ribbon into a bow. Now you have a very practical bag for all sorts of occassions.

I always keep a couple of these pouches in my bag. There's always something extra to tote around and, as I've sworn off plastic bags, these eco-friendly reusable bags always seem to come in handy.

Sew, Mama, Sew Giveaway Day - Mini Clutch and Organza Flower Sash

-----------------------------------------------------
THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.
THE WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED SHORTLY.
-----------------------------------------------------

So, it's Giveaway Day at Sew, Mama, Sew and this is my second giveaway linked.
(The first one is an assortment of my favourite spring fabrics in cotton and linen plus various vintage lace trims and daisies, which you can find: HERE.)

This giveaway is for a handmade mini clutch, large coin purse or all-purpose pouch in the sweetest spring floral cotton as well as an organza  fabric flower accessory that can be worn as headband, sash or wrist corsage in coral, red and ochre.

The clutch is extra easy to carry around. By adding a ribbon to the ring on the side you can turn it into a wristlet, or add your keys and never lose them again....

The clutch measures almost 15cm or 6inches across and almost 5 inches or about 12.5cm high.
The flower -plus leaves- measures almost 10cm or 4 inches across and its ribbon is about 1.90 cm or 75 inches.

To enter, simply leave a comment telling me what your favourite accessory is for spring and/or summer.

Just in case you'd like an extra entry or two, you can like my flower accessories shop Fairytale Flower , my fabric accessories shop One Perfect Day or you can even follow this blog.
Please leave an extra comment saying that you did  one -or all- of these and each comment will be counted as a further entry.
(Please make sure there is a link to your comment where I can reach you if you win.)

International entries are welcome.

Giveaway ends on May 10 and post will be updated with winner by May 12.

Thanks for participating

Supergirly Clutch Purse - Project 2 - Umbrella Prints Trimming Competition

Here is my second project for the Umbrella Prints Trimmings Competition. (Here  is the first.)
It's a clutch in the supergirly pinks and reds of this trimmings pack.

I love the fabrics I had to work with.
Pinks and reds together are my latest addiction and the touch of white is just perfect.

The abstract flower circle with the leaves is basically my circle brooch turned flower. It's an idea I've been working on this past week and I'm very pleased with it.

I toyed with the idea of making it detachable, and I was very tempted, but I went for the sewed-on version in the end.

I have never made a lined clutch or pouch before and since they aren't the same as bags  I had a bit of trouble figuring it out....

I'm so thoroughly smitten with it that I think I'll keep this one for myself.

Now I have to go and finish project number three.

My Creative Space - Wristlet Pouches

Amongst a million other things that seem to be on my worktable, I finally made my first ever pouches!

They've been on my list of things to do for ever....

So it was fortuitous that someone ordered one and of course I got carried away and got to make more.

Maybe you noticed the heart stolen from the Lavender-filled Heart Brooch.

They were lots of fun to make and I'll definately be making more when this Christmas rush is over and I have the time to breathe...

The litttle handles were actualy cut up from hanles I had made for the kid's Duck Bags a while ago.

This one is mine and as large as a pencil case but I use it for the little bag I carry around when I don't want to carry a bag. I put my keys, purse and mobile in it and I'm good to go. The handle makes it extremely practical as it dangles on your wrist and you have free hands!
I've also made a smaller one I use as a mini make-up case in my bag.

And this one is the same size made to the specifications of my sister who -I'm happy to say- adored them on sight.....
