Grey Flower Appliques
These measure roughly an inch and a half or about 4cm across. Ready to be added to any number of DIY projects.

Flower Girl Basket
I made this little organza pouch as an alternative to a flower girl basket.
It's light and versatile and the easiest thing to be packed into a suitcase for, say, a destination wedding....
I've added two loops -on either side of the handle- so that any kind of embellishment can be added. I was thinking a ribbon with flowers would be a nice touch.Tied with a pretty bow and enough left to trail down.

Large Ethereal Flower Wand
I made this flower wand the other day. It's got a big peony-like flower, tulle leaves and trailing organza ribbons so ethereal that they seem to float down rather than cascade down.
I can see it being carried down the aisle by smiling flower girls or being propped in a pretty glass bottle, jar or vase as table decor just about anywhere.
I like the result so much that I've started experimenting with other colours, shapes, sizes and styles for the flowers, the ribbon and even the wooden dowel itself.

Black Flower Crown
While the black flowers on this flower crown seem to have a blue tinge, they're actually ink black with a hint of gold and bronze thrown in - and they are made from these black organza flowers.

Large Raven Black Flowers
These are large black organza flowers I made for a special project.
There's eight of them - in the two different sizes shown in these pictures.
They're actually darker than the pictures show. They're jet black with no hint of blue at all. Both the organza used for the petals and the tulle are as black as night.
The only relief from the darkness of the flower comes in the form of the gold stamens in the centre and and a hint of dark bronze organza in the mix to highlight the black and give the flower some depth and interest. Can you see it?

Large Burgundy and Black Flower Boutonierre
A large flower boutonniere in a moody mix of burgundy and black.
It measures 2.5 inches or about 6.35 cm across.
It's a custom order, made to tie into a special wedding outfit. So it's one of a kind.
And it's making its way across the ocean as we speak.

Red Poppy Earrings
Another pair of poppy post earrings. This time in red with a discreetly lustrous pewter grey bead centre. (You can see the previous ones here.)
These ones also measure about 1.5 cm across. They are the smallest in size for these flower earrings. There is also a medium and a large size available.
And these are also listed in my Fairytale Flower etsy shop.

Caramel Orange Flower Post Earrings
Lightweight, handmade flower post earrings in a burnt orange that's almost caramel.
These measure about 1.5 cm across and are listed in my Fairytale Flower shop.
They come in various colours: the caramel orange pictured as well as red, yellow, dark teal, magenta, sandy-beige, charcoal grey, dove grey and a couple more.

Dark Cherry Red Flower Pin and Bobby Pin
I made these dark cerise flowers a couple of days ago. I love this red fabric for its intense vivid colour as well as its discreet subtle sheen.
The beads in the middle are quite interesting, with an exceptional luster with shimmery hues of a variety of colours, including gold and a sort of beetle green. That probably doesn't sound very appealing and it sure isn't captured well in the photos but in reality it's very pretty and rather alluring.
For the flower brooch I attached the simple spoil-proof pin that I favour for brooches (aka pins). The kind that doesn't have the little 'wheel' that sometimes comes off.

White Flower Bobby Pins
Dainty little flowers on silver bobby pins.
(Sewn on. Not glued on. Which makes them last so much longer.)
Perfect for little girls.
You can find them here.

Brown Flower Brooch with Trailing Ribbons
You can see the brooch back above. I like these simple pins because they're pretty sturdy and the kind that won't break off and leave you with an unwearable brooch.

Black Flower Brooch
This large black organza flower sash-turned-brooch was a custom order that I really enjoyed making. The ribbon is tied in a bow and then left long to trail down in a pretty cascade when worn.

Long Textile Necklace in Burgundy
I've been enjoying making some textile necklaces recently. They're all little pouches (or pockets) where you can stash a favourite item or lucky charm, a poem or love letter...whatever you want to keep close to your heart all day long.
You could even keep some emergency cash in there maybe...

This one is all burgundy - my latest colour crush.
I find it such a great colour for winter.
This one has already found its way into my MagicalFairytale shop.
