Large Burgundy and Black Flower Boutonierre

A large flower boutonniere in a moody mix of burgundy and black. 

It measures 2.5 inches or about 6.35 cm across.

It's a custom order, made to tie into a special wedding outfit. So it's one of a kind. 

 And it's making its way across the ocean as we speak.

These were a summer custom order for bridesmaids and I enjoyed making them immensely!

I find this colour so lively and vivid and cheery, it just makes me smile.

These white organza flower and white tulle leaf corsages were part of a custom order of bridesmaids and flower girl corsages. 
The almost luminous peach centre is a combination of translucent beads and iridescent sequins.

The beautiful Ethel was kind enough to share some pictures of her snowy fairytale wedding with me. 

She's wearing one of these gold leaf hairclips in her hair and I was surprised to see that she turned one of them into the dashing groom's boutonniere. Such a great idea!

Fairytale Bride

This is one of my newest organza flowers and one of my new favourites.

The golden ivory colour of the organza is so delicate and ethereal, it makes the flower look luminous, like it's barely there.
