Bridal White Flower Wrist Corsage
These white organza flower and white tulle leaf corsages were part of a custom order of bridesmaids and flower girl corsages.
The almost luminous peach centre is a combination of translucent beads and iridescent sequins.

Garnet Red Satin Flower Corsage
I came across some deep, garnet red satin that just begged me to try my hand at it.

So I obliged.
This is the result.

Organza Flower Ring Pillow
Back when I showed you the extra large bridal flower I was making for a special overseas bride, I promised you photos of the matching ring pillow.
So here they are. Lots of them.
I really enjoyed making it so I can safely predict some more in the future.

Wrist Corsage in Lilac, Purple and Champagne
This is my latest wrist cuff / corsage.
The flower is a delicate champagne organza that is shot through with bronze and gold set in purple and lilac toned leaves and ribbon.
I can't wait to photograph it on a model.

My Creative Space - Dark Chocolate
After my prolonged red-pink phase and with the heat rising relentlessly, it was about time to turn to some cooler colours.
Dark chocolate organza with a touch of mysterious black tulle
shimmering black sequins with sparks of green fire
and the brightest of grass green leaves.
A trio of different sizes.
They are particularly difficult to photograph.

New Baby Pink Organza Flower
Here's a new little organza flower brooch in the very pale, very delicate pink organza I've rediscovered lately.
This one has an irridescent centre of translucent, shimmering hearts
-one of my absolute favourite sequins ever.
And leaves made out of a liberty-like floral cotton with dainty pink flowers and a sprinkling of green leaves.
Yes, a favourite also, from my vintage stash.
I decided to opt for the black stitching for some contrast and I'm quite happy with the outcome.
Here's a picture of the whole brooch from the front
and from the back.
Don't forget to enter January's Give-Away for a chance to win a similar but much larger Pale Pink Organza Flower.

My Creative Space - Golden Flowers
These are my latest organza flowers, and I'm really excited about them....
The deep golden colour of the flower is actualy the result of quite a few layers of different colours -in both organza and tulle.
The pairing of it with the black leaves and purple thread was just a happy accident.
Perhaps I was influenced by the Halloween frenzy going on around me...
In any case, I'll definately be making more of these.

My Creative Space- Waxed Cord Sister Bracelets
The other day my sister requested some waxed cord bracelets, as the old ones had given up the ghost after about a year of constant wear -and tear. (She never takes them off, not even in the shower or at the beach.)
These three bracelets are the fruit of our collaboration.
We're both very pleased with them, even though we have totaly different taste -in just about everything.
The trick is that we both get our say in how each of these bracelets is made.
She brings me the key elements she'd like it to have and then I'm allowed to decide about the rest of it.
It's great fun.
We also made a pair of earrings with some big, beautiful, carved coral flowers -that I couldn't photograph because she wouldn't part with them......
Now I'm hooked again, so it's quite possible you'll be seeing a few of these around here in the near future....
